Cleaning up the corners of dovetails and other intricate joints is a job for a fine paring tool.  These fishtail chisels feature a bevel on one side and a flat back on the other.  The narrow shaft and flared blade make it easier to access areas where a straight chisel cannot go.  If you enjoy paring and fitting joints by hand, these special tools will bring much pleasure and accuracy to your work.  The German steel blades can be honed to a fine, razor sharp edge.  Octagon hornbeam handle, overall tool length is 10″.

Our ten piece knife set contains all of the  tools essential for general carving and chip carving projects.  These Two Cherries Brand tools are hand forged from quality German steel then hardened and tempered to 61Rc (Rockwell scale.)  This means that these knives will take and hold the sharpest edge possible.  The blades are expertly shaped and ground and, as a final step, each knife is polished to a mirror finish.

Schmitt Company, makers of Two Cherries edge tools, has introduced a selection of micro carving tools.  Like all other products made by this venerable manufacturer, these tools are hand forged and finely polished.  The blades are mounted on a special wooden handle designed to be comfortable and easy to use.  The blades are approximately 2 1/2″ long and handles are 4 1/2″.

6 pc. set includes: 1.5mm curved chisel, 1mm shallow gouge, 1mm medium gouge, .5mm deep gouge, 1mm deep gouge, 1.5mm V chisel.
