About Our Founder: Diefenbacher Tools was founded in 1998 by furniture maker Ron Diefenbacher. Ron has decades of experience as a professional woodworker and creator of custom hardwood furniture. He has a Master of Arts in Woodworking and Furniture Design and taught Wood Furniture Design at Washington University in St. Louis.
As a teacher and woodworker Ron has used and evaluated many hand tools over the years. Most of the brands we sell have been evaluated by Ron before being included in our catalog, so that you can be confident of the quality and usefulness of your investment.
